Features:
- These radial universal turret milling machines are widely used in precision machining. They feature the reasonable construction and the superior machining functions to perform drilling, boring, milling of surfaces and slots. Equipped with various accessories such as the rotary tables, the dividing heads, the vises etc., they can cut helix slots, round surfaces, racks, gears and splines;
- The base and the column are integrated and made of one-piece heavy-duty alloyed casting to give the machine high rigidity and stability in performance. With the column being designed with internal reinforcement ribs, the machine has further increased its high rigidity and its shock absorption capacity, thus can ensure high vibration-free precision in its performance. All parts on this machine which are made from castings are made of high-density, high-strength, close-grained and alloyed grey cast iron. These castings, before being be machined into finished parts, have been fully heat-treated with enough annealing to eliminate the internal stress to the minimum, thus enable the machine to be free away from distortion and keep a long-term precision in performance;
- All gears have been made of quality alloy steel, hardened and precision ground, enabling the machine very quiet operations;
- The vertical turret milling head on this machine swivels left / right within 90 degrees and tilts front / rear within 45 degrees. The ram swivels around the column for 360 degrees, and travels for a 500mm distance. All of these motion capacities greatly enlarge the machine's machining scope;
- 5 HP powerful turret milling head has 16-step speeds. A variable-speed milling head is also available as an option. This turret milling head is made in Taiwan where high quality milling heads are produced. Large spindle quill with diameter 100mm has been hardened and precision ground and has high precision. Being supported with high-precision tapered-roller bearings, the spindle quill's run-out accuracy is 0.01mm only. To further increase the spindle quill's wearing-resistance & corrosion-resistance capacities and surface finish, the spindle quill is chrome electroplated. Furthermore, the heavy-duty spindle quill brake ensures the operator can control the spindle quill safely and effectively;
- 305/330x1370mm (Width x Length) large worktable enables this machine to be able to machine medium workpieces, not only small workpieces. Its top surface has been hardened and precision ground to provide a precision positioning surface for the workpieces. And its T-slots are ground and have IT 7 tolerance on its width to offer precision positioning for the T-nuts. The worktable can be driven by hand or by power feed. The power feed is to be supplied as an option on request of customers;
- Rectangular guide ways on both Y-Axis (the Cross direction) and Z-Axis (the Vertical direction). The guide ways on the saddle are lined with TF wearing-resistant material, making the machine more rigid and stable. All guide ways are hardened and precision ground to give the machine high performance accuracy;
- The X-Axial screw and the Y-Axial screw are fitted with two nuts, making it easy to adjust the clearance between the screw and the nut to gain high positioning accuracy. The X-Axial screw and the Y-Axial screw are designed as being supported with one base, helping the machine to gain higher precision and rigidity;
- The bevel gear set for lifting the knee up and down is hypoid gearing set which makes the moving smooth without shaking;
- The electrical system on this machine is designed as per CE standards. Components are under world famous brands such as Siemens, Schneider, Delixi, Juche, etc.;
- Various machine accessories are available to fit on this machine to enlarge its machining scope or improve its machining accuracy. These accessories or components are power feeds, gearbox feeds, plastic splash guard, digital readout (2-axis or 3-axis), machine vises, ball screws and so on.
