Product Description

Facing heads are widely used on boring mills for facing and externally / internally turning, threading or boring on cylindrical, concial and other shaped surfaces with large diameters. Our facing heads can always custom made as per the relevant specifications on the spindle noses and headstocks on the boring mills.

These mechanical facing heads are independent-feeding type. The sliding block on them is adjusted by the manually turning screw to position the tool holder which is fixed onto the sliding block. On request, CNC controlled facing heads, which are driven by servo motors linked to the machine's CNC system can be offered.

We provide as standard these facing heads with OD of 600, 800, 850, 1000 mm and meanwhile they are available to be custom made to fit on your boring mills. Our standard facing heads have their connections fitting to China made TK6913, TK6916, TK6920 floor type boring mills. They extend greatly the machining scope on these machines. But we can always customize facing head to exactly meet the requirements of your machines, no matter who are makers of these machines.
