1. These CNC hydraulic self-centering steady rests are widely used on CNC flat- or slant-bed lathes to ensure high precision concentricity of the workpiece centerline with the centerline of the lathe spindle. Meanwhile, they greatly increase the dimensional accuracy, the cylindricity and the surface finish etc. on workpices with the productivity highly raised as well;

These CNC hydraulic steady rests have their hydraulic cylinders side mounted and thus can be accommodated on the machine which offers a very limited installation space for the hydraulic steady rest in the cross direction (X-axis direction) on the lathe. They are especially suitable for fitting on a slant-bed CNC lathe;
