1. These boring mill jaws 8"x6" are two-piece construction and its top jaw is reversible to be versatile to clamp workpieces with outside / inside diameters in a wide range. They can be custom made into any sizes requested by your machines which are to receive these boring mill jaws
2. For boring mill jaws with some certain sizes, we have always them in stock for immediate shipment. Especially for boring mill jaws used on China made vertical lathes such as C5116, C5123, C5240, C5263, C5280 etc. we always have the right jaws in stock ready for shipment;
3. These boring mill jaws can always be custom made to exactly fit on the chucks of the machines. Their lead time is short as being within 20 days or less. So in case that boring mill jaws are urgently needed, we are right the supplier for your choice;
4. Top jaws made of one-piece steel forging and jaw bases made of one-piece steel casting. In case the workpieces are very heavy with a weight such as 100 tons or several hundred tons, we will use one-piece forging alloy steel to make the boring mill jaws' bases. Top surfaces and guideways on the jaw bases hardened and precision ground to provide long time stable operations. The screw rod inside the jaw base is quenched and tempered for a long time operation;
5. These boring mill jaws are priamrily used in turning, drilling, reaming and milling on workpieces in irregular shapes. They are independent workholding elements which can be used on various occassions;
