2. Applications
To remove the congealed contaminants, oxide layer, welding slag and residual paint etc. away from the surfaces of workpieces, in order to achieve clean surfaces on workpieces and reduce the internal stress of workpieces simultaneously.
3. Features for safe, clean and comfortable operations
3.1 Safety features
a) Warning color is painted on the transmission positions and protection hoods are furnished;
b) Emergency stops are fitted on operations area and repairing/maintenance area;
c) Safety interlocks are equipped between the shot supplying device, the shot blasting device and the maintenance device;
d) Besides the entry doors at one end of the container, a side door and the observation windows are on one side of the blasting room.
3.2 Dust-removal and sealing features
a) Dust suction port is set at the bottom of one end of the blasting room (i.e., the 20' container). It has its one end connected with the multiple mixtures collection compartments below the steel grating floor in the blasting room, and has it's other end connected with the high-pressure wind blower. The blower sucks the mixtures collected from the dust suction port and at the same time blows in fresh air into the top space inside the blasting room, therefore, during the blasting operation the dust can be effectively and quickly resided into the bottom mixtures collection compartments to provide a visible and comfortable operation environment inside the blasting room;
b) All the devices and components are fully sealed to prevent the leakages of dust and shots. The waste is discharged from a drainage port where it is collected away to a garbage site. Also the whole set of machine including all its components such as working lamps, blowers, blasting room and pipelines etc. are rain-proof and wind-proof.
3.3 Illumination
Enough halogen lamps, protected with hoods, are furnished inside the blasting room to offer enough illumination during the operations.
3.4 Noise control
The blower's outlet is electrically controlled and automatically adjusted. The silencers are furnished on the blower's outlet to eliminate the noise. The blower is mounted on a vibration-resistant base and is equipped with the noise-proof enclosure to reduce its running noise to be not more than 85 dB within one meter away from the blower. This noise-proof enclosure is water-proof, detachable and is equipped with illumination.
4.Designs and working principals
4.1 Major features of designs
a) A standard 20' GP container is adopted and modified to a blasting room. Side door, observation windows, working lamps are attached on sides or inside the container;
b) Can receive workpiece with single-piece up to 3000 KG and size up to 5600x800x1000 mm;
c) A trolley carrying up to 3000 KG together with its tracking rails as accessories to move workpieces in/out the blasting room. The trolley can be fixed in the blasting room and serve as the worktable on which the workpieces are blasted with shots. When the machine is removed and transported, the trolley and the tracking rails will be stuffed and consolidated in the blasting room;
d) All components are integrally fabricated into a "single-piece" construction. Thus the minimal disassembly / assembly jobs are needed during removal / installation. Only the top wind pipe needs to be detached in order to reduce the machine to a legal overall height allowed by the road transportation laws;
e) Shots and removed objects collection compartments are furnished on the entire lower area inside the blasting room. The steel grating floor on top of these compartments is laid on the full bottom area in the blasting room, and steel mesh with 5 mm grids are welded on top of it. Therefore, it is anti-slipping and allows the falling shots and other objects to enter the collection compartments beneath;
f) The automatic scrapping-board type shot conveyors are furnished beside the collection compartments on the bottom of the blasting room. These conveyors effectively remove all the objected collected in the compartment out of the blasting room to input them into the air separator mounted out of the blasting room, where the shots are separated and enter the next working cycle while other objects are separated and drained;
4.2 Working principal
1st Step: |
Load workpieces onto the flat trolley which is on the tracking rail already mounted beside the opening end of the blasting room. At the same time open the doors of the blasting room. |
2nd Step: |
Push the trolley into the blasting room and close the doors. |
3rd Step: |
Turn on the working lamps, the dust-eliminating device, the separator and the scrapping-board conveyor. |
4th Step: |
Put on the personal protection equipment. Turn on the shot blasting device and start to clean the workpieces. |
5th Step: |
Clean the workpieces with shot blasting until the satisfactory cleanness is achieved. |
6th Step: |
Turn off all the devices. Open the doors and push the trolley out of the blasting room. |
