OD 1000mm ID 559mm 4-jaw independent large bore chuck is widely used on oil country lathes, pipe threading lathes, deep-hole borers, or other kinds of pipe processing machines. Their back mounts can be customized to any types, such as A, C, D with No. 11-28 to fit with the spindle noses of the machines. Chuck bases are usually made of HT-350 gray cast iron, while on request can be made of casting steel.
Other sizes and features can be customized, such as larger diameters till 2000mm, bolt-on top jaws, radial T-slots etc. For heavy-duty independent chucks being called for with large bore, independent box jaws can be assembled with the chucks. Also motorised-driven chucks in combination of self-centering and independent jaw-movements can be supplied on request.
We have been customizing chucks for lathes under many brands, and are familiar with various spindle nose specs. In case the spindle nose isn't standard A, C, D types, we can supply adaptor flanges along with the chuck for installation purpose.
