1. These large big-bore 4-jaw self-center & independent combo chucks have their base made of casting steel thus features with high rigidity. They are widely used on the horiztonal lathes and the vertical lathes. Sometimes they are used on the pipe cutting / welding machines for quick clamping on workpieces;
2. Combining the self-centering clamping and the independent clamping functions with these four jaws, therefore the workpieces set-up time is greatly shortened. The top jaw blocks are detachable and can be fixed on multiple positions along the jaw block's carriers. Also the top jaw blocks can be all detached and then the chuck can be used as a face plate with radial T-slots (4 nos.) in it to help hold the workpieces;
3. These 4-jaw self-centering chucks can always be custom made as per the special requirements from customers regarding to their outer diameters, their bore diameters, the width of chuck jaws etc. The outer diameters of these chucks can be made up to 2600mm;
4. Lathe spindle nose connections can be short-taper direction mounting types as A2-15, A2-20, A2-28 or short-cylinder mounting type. Other spindle connection types can also be customized;
