Product Description

This EFM-1200X1500 end face milling machine is used to mill both the end faces and the sides on the H-beams, Box-beams and Star-beam etc. which are fabricated by welding or rolling. Its maximum processing section size is 1200mm width and 1500mm height. It is reliable in performance, easy to operate and maintenance and compact in structure.

1. Both the base and the column on this end face milling machine are fabricated with steel plates by welding. The internal stress caused by the welding process has been eliminated to the minimum by the annealment process after welding. Thus it is free away from distortion in the long-term operations;

2. Both the column carriage sliding along the base and the milling head carriage sliding along the column, are made of one single-piece gray cast iron. The grade HT-250 cast iron features high strength and close-grained and has been processed with twice annealment to releive its stress to the minimum;

3. Linear guiding rails are fitted on the base of this end face milling machine to ensure the column's accurate and stable horiztonal traveling. The telescopic protection covers are fitted on this end face milling machine;

4. The horizontal travel of the column is driven by an AC variable frequency motor via a set of gear and rack, and the vertical travel of the milling head is driven by an AC variable frequency motor via the set of lead screw and nut;

5. The milling head on this end face mill machine features reliable performance, rigid structure, easy operations and maintenance and low noise. Speeds are changed in 6 gears with variable speeds adjustable within each gear. The milling angle is adjustable from 0 to 45 degrees;

6. Cutting tools used on this end face milling machine are standard types so they are available everywhere in the market. Carbide bits on fitted on the cutters to ensure the machine can process steels with high hardness. Standard cutter with its diameter of 125mm is supplied with the machine. On request, cutters of other sizes are available;

7. A centralized lubrication center is with this machine, supplying oil by hand to all moving parts;

8. The electric cabinet and the control box are supplied with the end face milling machine. "Power On/Off", "Emergency-Stop" buttons are on the cabinet. The operation control box has buttons for controlling all the functions of this machine, and it displays the feeding speeds;

9. A hyraulic work-clamping worktable is supplied with this machine. It holds the workpieces by the hydraulic cylinders firmly. A floor bed plate is available too. We can customize the bed plates to meet customer requirements.
