1. The boring spindle and the milling spindle are made of high quality alloy steel, processed with the nitrogen treatment and precision ground to guarantee high accuracy and a long service life in machining;
2. The boring spindle bore 7: 24 BT50 with the hydraulically automatic arbor draw-in rod;
3. The ram is made of wear-resistant cast iron HT300 with guideways copper inlaid to guarantee high resistance against abrasion in its movements in the boring head;
4. Both the ram and the boring spindle have a long stroke to guarantee a wide machining scope for the boring mill;
5. The spindles' revolution is driven by a powerful variable-frequency motor and have speeds adjusted stepless in four gears which are changed by the hydraulic power, offering great convenience for the operator;
6. All gears in the boring gearbox and the feeding gearbox are hardened and precision ground to obtain the optimal engagements and the minimum noise in operations;
7. The feeding movement of the ram is driven by a high-torque servomotor steplessly, and the feeding movement of the boring spindle is driven by another high-torque servomotor steplessly. P5 grade high precision ball screws are equipped as the transmission for the feeding movement for both the ram and the boring spindle. The double-gear backlash-eliminating transmission devices in the feeding gearbox further guarantee a high angular positioning accuracy for the ball screws and in turn ensure a high linear positioning accuracy for the feeding movements of the ram and the boring spindle.
8. The boring and milling head is supplied with a set of right angular milling head, a two-position hydraulic brake for locking the headstock to the column of the boring mill, four pieces of cast iron pressing plates and two pieces of steel strips. The facing head will be supplied as an option from the customer.
