Product Description

1.     Semi-automatic universal spline shaft milling machine is used for hobbing and milling spline shafts with various kinds of tooth shapes as well as spur gears and helical gears with less than 36 teeth. By engaging a set of change gears onto this spline shaft milling machine, teeth of more than 36 can be milled;

2.     Automatic working cycles for both cases involving only one single machining process to complete the finished parts, and cases involves two machining processes which are the rough machining process and the fine machining process to complete the finished parts. Shifts between the rough machining cycle and the fine machining cycle is automatic, and the fine machining allowances are adjustable;

3.     Feedings are performed by separately feeding the workpiece in its axial direction, or by feeding the hobbing cutter in it radial direction in combination with feeding the workpiece in its axial direction;

4.     Both up milling and down milling can be performed on the machine;

5.     The hobbing cutter can be preset by hand thus the service life of the cutter is prolonged ;

6.     Stead rest is supplied with the machine to stably support the slender long workpieces;

7.     Automatic lubrications are furnished on all the major moving components on the machine.
